I'm sure that technically 991 is very advanced with all the new improvements but the design looks too vanilla for my taste. It is too rounded, almost like turbo version of a Cayman. I feel like one day we will look back at the 997TT design and consider it as the best version of the water-cooled TT's similar to how 993's are arguably considered to be the best design of the air-cooled TT's.

I have to agree. Love the 993 and 997 models the best.

 

The Gen 1 997 do look dated, but the Gen 2 is still a better looking car to me. I really want me a 997.2 gt3rs right now.

 

The only bad thing about the 991TT is the fact the many of us can't afford it....

You must get passed by the .2s a lot because the only visible, on the road, is the rear bumper.

and from the front and side most people would confuse a 991 with a 997.

 

So how would a brand new 991TT improve your drive, or the driving experience?

Thats my measuring stick. I mean you dumped the TT for the Lambo so looks and prestige, yeah it would be worth it if that was your MO
