Blasphemy, wood in a 911?

I realize most of you will find this sacrilegious, but I recently installed a makassar ebony console and dash trim strips courtesy of Suncoast. I love the natural leather interior, but it is a bit monochromatic. I think this breaks up the interior perfectly and the wood grain is actually pretty subtle. I was able to find a few photos online, but figured I'd post this as reference if anyone is looking to do this. I've saved the originals in case I sell it down the line and the future owner doesn't share my tastes.

I didn't think I would, but that isn't bad at all.

I thought this would've been a lot different from the title, but it really does work with that console! Nicely done

In a GT* or Turbo version - no. Any other - yes. In 1995 I ordered a 911C4 Cab with wood. It was fabulous and I received MANY compliments on it from other Porsche owners.

I usually dislike woodgrain in any car but that works out pretty well.
