Very cool gadget April 2014
Ran across the following and though it would be nice to pass along........it fits in the palm of your hand.
Cobra Electronics is a big player in the automotive world, largely thanks to its line of radar detectors. What a lot of people don't know, however, is that the company has also been dabbling with products that jump-start your car. At this year's CES, Cobra is introducing the JumPack, which it says is a game-changing device for jump-starting -- an odd-sounding statement, no doubt, but we have to agree. The 7,500mAh portable JumPack (CPP 7500) looks suspiciously like your run-of-the-mill external smartphone/tablet charger, and it's the smallest jump-start power pack we've come across. It features a 200A starting current and gets up to a peak current of 400A, which is enough to give your car's battery a few jumps -- given that it only takes three to four hours to recharge, it should be more than enough to manage those unfortunate situations in a lonely parking lot. It also comes with a built-in flashlight as well as USB output (2.1A) in case you want to give your smartphone a power boost. When it makes its way to stores in March or April, you'll be able to pick one up for $130.

I have had mine for over a moth! Got it from my Snap On Tool rep. It doesn't say Cobra! It is Zeta....EXACT SAME PRODUCT! I had a chance to get into these from the beginning but I was too skeptical
I have jump started a completely dead Maxima, a boat, two wave runners and high compression Harley 110! It WORKS!! I am almost afraid of it as that's a lot of power in a little pack! That is an Iphone 5 with no case beside it!! I think every car should have one in their glove compartment...If you have one...lol

how is battery life ? do you need to re-charge every month or so or does it stay fully charged for a decent amount of time ?

Also good to hear it works as designed.

I have only had it a month! I have used the crap out of it! I've plugged it in probably three times.
good to know.
i would think to be a really great product it needs to be able to be left in the glove box and only need to be charged once a year, its generally not an every day use type of product so needs to be able to be left and forgotten about until its needed

i really doubt it will have the strength to crank a car over after sitting for year in a glove box.....

I agree howver if you use it as an auxillary for the lap top every month or so and then recharge it should do well.
