2007 911 TT in FL
Hi,
I am staring to look around for a 997 TT and I came across this in FL.
I wanted to ask the forum what would be a fair price on this car?

Thanks,

Thanks,
not really that great of a price IMHO. auto's sell for a bit less than manuals. it doesnt have sport seats, it doesnt have ccb's. personally i think that car is worth 60k max... thats what several tips have been selling for, low 60's
check autotrader too.
check autotrader too.
I think 63k for a 6speed is low. I would say more like 70 even with the minimal options.
I think that is a decent price, I would probably offer 63 and settle for 65ish

dealers are offering elders low 50's on 997's now (just look at the 991 forum and you'll see what guys are getting for their car on trade). right now is the worst time to sell (and best time to buy) a sports car.
NADA seems to be what they go by. Dealers will consider all trades as rough shape and its what they give u for trade. As far as options go, the only ones that really matter are tip or six speed and navi which all cars have. All the other options dont count much to them. I dont think they will value an 07 for fifty unless its high mileage
here are several that are being offered for 60k or less… these are asking prices… depending on the dealer, how long they've had the car in stock, you can knock off anywhere from a couple grand, to well over 5k from their asking price. big money turbo guys are taking huge hits hits (with a smile on their face) to be able to get the 991.

Steve,
As an added comment, the couple I looked at in your list have substantially higher miles than the Ebay example from the OP (56K and 69K versus 35K).
The modded tip for $62K has 20,000 miles more than the OP's example. That is worth $3,000 - $5,000 right there (depending on how much importance you attach to miles), which takes you up to the Ebay price.
Mods are largely worthless in resale anyway, unless you happen to be looking for the mod the seller is offering.
For a daily driver, I'll take a 35K car at $67K over a 69K car at $61K any day, providing a good PPI is done, but to each his own.

OP…take your time looking. As others have mentioned, price will vary based on many factors. Mileage certainly comes into play and you'll find many samples with higher mileage in mid to low 60's. For some this is perfectly fine and for others no thanks. There is so much more that needs to be factored in when looking. Besides determining what transmission you want, you'll need to determine what level of wear and tear is acceptable to you? How well has the car been maintained, inside and out? What options do you require and which are nice to have?
Personally, I would pay 10k more for an excellent example vs. something with 30k more miles in fair condition. All the little things that may nag at you, e.g. excessive roc chips, scrapes, worn leather surfaces, aging preventive maintenance items, tires, brakes, etc.
Some simply don't care about this stuff and simply drive all day every day. Then there are some like me who install clear bra since day 1, always hand wash, never driven in the rain, etc, etc. Lots somewhere in between too.
Anyway, take your time. Hope this helps provide some perspective that regardless of transmission type, there will be 80K '07 turbos and 60K…go look and see why.
