Both running a blend of pump/race gas. I forgot to mention but both also have the dual clutch trans...PDK for me and I think the Audi is called DSG.

The race ended when I passed the black Shift Sector flag. I was pulling on him the whole race. So yeah it looks like he's gaining at the end but that's because the race is over. I had a 3-4 mph advantage at the finish line from what I remember. The first race we did the start was messed up but I had something like a 6mph advantage at the finish line. So the 997.2 + bolt ons is quite a bit faster.



Agreed....love the R8's. The sound alone would get me to switch. The mid engine balance is also terrific. But they are pretty slow off the line. I just eased into it and you can hear that he was using launch control.

With my new r888 tires, the start wouldn't even be remotely close. I would have 1-2 cars on him to 60mph if I used LC. I've been doing 0-60mph in mid-2's consistently.
