will not work. tire is too wide and too short.
305 35 18 is the way to go for width and height.

is this for a 997 or a 996 ?
if its for a 997, you'll have a slower car with that setup. less mph in each gear

a 315 30 18 is quite a bit smaller than the factory 305 30 19. your best bet is to run a 305 35 18 nitto nt01 or the like.. i realize hoosier doesnt make a tire in that size.

The 335 Hoosier is 5/8" shorter in than the stock 305 is. It's also designed to be fit on at least a 12" wheel. The sidewalls on the R6 are pretty stiff, it's unlikely you will get the tire on the rim without crowning the treadcap on it. Not a good idea.

I am using 335-30-18 Drag Radials, they works pretty well
