Picked this up off of craigslist locally - loaded my SIM and have made a few calls with it...great phone, but just found out that the phone I ordered through my company a few weeks ago is finally arriving...(nuts) - anyways, here it is up for sale - first $270 takes it (includes shipping via priority mail w/insurance anywhere in the domestic US)

Payment to be made via paypal or money order please.

Includes all OEM instructions, headset, int'l charger w/adapter, cool external speaker deal etc. The phone is unlocked.

Hey Marc, I'm currently with Cingular (their customer service blows) I wish I woul have never left Nextel, then again - Nextel doesn't have any "cool" phones...I ordered an MPX220 through my work on accident LOL, so now I have the MPX220 and the SDH-500...the SDH-500 is really badass, I just want something that is more Windows based...if you can believe that hahaha.

I really WANT the 8801 when it hits here, but damn, not so sure about dropping $700 on a phone LOL. Eats into my Gallardo budget...

 

I agree on all your points, had Cingular and their CS stunk, the MPX220 is a nice phone I have played with it in the store, and as far as Windows based I hear you the Treo will have Windows OP system in the new 700 in Jan...I just went through a Treo 650 (2nd time) and another Blackberry to end up back with my LG7000 (Verizon) and I have a Mot V3 on a T-Mob pre-paid SIM for trips outside the US as VZW does not work most places as it is CDMA...

The 8801 is also going to be serious then again so is the Lambo! If I can find a buyer for the Sammy I will let you know...

Sheynk, you could of unlocked it to use it with Cingular. It's a nice phone, but the best is too much of an overstatement.

bumble - did you order the 8801? I posted the site for you. I have 2 on order. It's a great conversation piece. People always ask me what kind of phone it is when I'm using my 8800.

 

my dad uses this phone and I love it...and yeah this is my favourite one on the market today...but I need a phone with 850 since thats the prevailing frequency in the Midwest. T-Mobile is terrible here in Bloomington

 

Ya Cingular runs 850 here as well and there are very few 850 band phones most are 900 and 1900 which is t-mobile, one good thing for Motorolas high and they are all quad band they work worldwide...even the far east
