Cobb pump gas 1/4 mile numbers 997.2
About a week ago I installed a BBI race exhaust on my turbo S. After looking at the logs, Mitch made a quick couple tweaks to my pump gas map. Last night I took the car to get gas and it felt absolutely ballistic, like never before. I emailed Mitch to tell him how pleased I was with how it was running and he encouraged me to go to the track to see what it did on straight pump since it felt so good. So, this morning I went to a local Cars and Coffee then decided to go to Island Dragway. I hadn't really prepared to go and when I got there I had 3/4 tank of gas plus a bunch of stuff in the frunk (thanks longboarder). I also completely forgot to take air out of my tires the first run so I spun a 2.0 60' and went 10.7. It spun through 1st and most of 2nd gear.
I then collected myself and bled tire pressure to 28 front / 26 rear and got back in line. 10.3@133 with a 1.52 60'. Holy crap.
I was super excited and got back in line. Some guys had seen the car run and told me to try the other lane because they ran faster in it. I get up, race again and come around to the stand to get my slip and was told to go see security. Upon finally finding the security guy, I was told I went too fast for not having a roll bar and was kindly asked to leave. After about 10 mins of pressing, begging, and bribing, I was told "unofficially" I went 10.2@ 134 and change. If I hadn't been asked again not to come back until I had a rollbar, I would have done a backflip right then and there. As I'm now an outlaw at Englishtown and Island, I'm going to have to stick to track rentals or go out of state from now on
. I am not putting a rollbar in the car as my little ones love riding in it too much.
Thanks to Mitch and the Cobb crew for making my car fly! I am extremely happy with my purchase because of how well the car performs and the amazing customer service I've received.
Can't wait to get a race map and see what comes next

I agree. I was completely shocked at how quick the car feels in every day driving mode. Mitch did have me enter a cheat code into my Accessport up down left right ABABAB
Haha.
I actually really want to take all of the crap out of my car, get the fuel closer to 1/4 tank, and go on a cooler night. I truly think I can run a 10.0 on pump in perfect conditions with stars aligned at Atco

Lol at the cheat code ! You alredy have light wheel/tires and brakes . Do some more weight reduction, put a braille lightweight batery , titanium wheel lugs , take everything from the trunk and maybe take out passanger seat . Or you can try gt30 turbos

Great times, glad you are happy with your purchases, car sounds beastly!!
Congrats brotha that is flying!!! Race gas and drop some weight and hopefully we will see some 9's!
Edit : I mean you drop some weight too. I have my wife feeding me all this vegan organic stuff and I'm trying to drop down to 160 for race season which is about 25 pounds less where I normally am.

Thanks bro! You callin' me fat?
I could stand to lose about 20-25 and get back to fighting weight. What better reason than to help my car go fast haha
