Is it taboo to do a GT3 style wing on a 997 Turbo?

I'm working on a project car and looking at the Techart bumper for Precision and i'm wanting to do this style GT3 wing>

While searching for pics I have seen exactly "0" 997 turbo cars with this wing and I'm wondering why.
It's between this wing or the techart wing. Is it bad taste to do the 997 wing?

I want to put this on my turbo. Better than a GT3 wing.

Initially thought of the Vorsteiner Wing ... but cant see myself coughing up $3500 .. so thought of the GT3RS wing .. but after consideration ... I might go for the GT2 wing instead ... thought the rams of the GT3RS wing is just a lil too funky for me.
People say it messed with the aero. What is your experience? How was the quality?
Go for it, and dont look back...always remember if you dont like it just put the stock one back or go with another...
yes its your car and everyone can do whatever they like..just like wheels , i just bought a set for another car looked great on the showroom, and didnt just do it when mounted.
O well, part of the process and do it!

I don't know if the car drove any different, but I wouldn't doubt it. Porsche perfects these cars in the wind tunnel, so I'd imagine sticking some aftermarket stuff on the car wouldn't be as efficient as the OEM one. The quality was "fine", but the clear coat on mine at least was starting to yellow and crack in some places. The body shop I take all my cars to offered to re-clear it very inexpensively, but I decided to just go back to the OEM wing instead. The big carbon one was just a little to 'boy racer' for my personal taste. I've had people all around me telling me I'm stupid for taking it off because it looked so great, so maybe I'm just boring.
I would do the oem aero. It really does flow well with the car.
I've never been a big fan of mixing aero parts. I think it's always best to get the ones designed to work together. IMHO.
