Hello guys, I'm new here.
Just bought my Porsche Turbo 997, 2007.
A friend of mine told me about this LED tail lights for my car and told me that I can buy it in ebay, but I'm worried about the quality of the produt. Do you guys can help me in choosing one that I can trust? Thank you very much!

 

most of these posts in here would address your question. Took 2 seconds to do a quick search. Dectane, Depo, FVD etc... search or google those names and you will find a wealth of information.

This has been beaten to death on this forum, if you can't find that answer, you haven't looked very hard.

Look for the Depo ones. I have them and they're great.

There are a few for sale in the parts section.

 

DELRAY CUSTOMS sells them. they are a sponsor on this site. ive been looking into getting them as well.

also a forum member has a set for sale in the classifieds section. slightly less than the delray lights. i bellieve they are dectane/ depo lights. he bought 2 sets and is selling a brand new set, but i think they are not warrantied.

i would trust the above two options since the ebay lights may be questionable as far as error codes, warranty, quality etc etc.

 

WE dont need to bash guys for not doing a search especially when someone is new. Its easier to just answer the question and recommend a search for more info.

FVD has them and I like the Dectane ones mine have been good to me.

 

Go for the Dectane/Depo ones, as they mimic the 997.2 LED tailights.

I assume that is directed at me, and i didn't bash anyone - in fact i provided him brand names to search and provided a link that could provide the answer he was looking for.

 

I got the depo ones off eBay paid around 550 make sure u get the resistors so the tail light don't give out on you. Common problem with the lights. Some say it's the passenger side some say driver side.

i think that they were referring to the 2 seconds and saying he didn't try very hard to help himself. that in itself , isnt really bad. but i stayed off 6speed for years bc of much worse comments when i was new to the site. i enjoy your posts , so not bashing you as well. im extra careful on these sites now, bc i realized that my joking does not really come across well when typed.

 

If you buy the Depo lights that were designed for US spec cars, the resistors are already included. They are "plug and play".
