4.5sec 100-200kph / 5.1sec 60-130mph - proTUNING Freaks 997.1 Turbo

Got a chance to finally update the vbox firmware and pull this off the SD card. Newest vbox firmware allows for 4gb sd cards which can still be purchased unlike the 2GB cards supported previously.

This was in 16c deg weather about 3/4 tank of gas and 1% slope on the 60-130 run, 0.774% on the 100-200kph (same run).

I find the acceleration graph quite funny. No idea what that was all about, maybe my mount needs to be secured better. Suction cups are very old and the vbox is mounted maybe 1/6th of an inch above the dash.

Anyways, thought I'd share these out, not too shabby for pump gas and meth, 3/4 tank of gas and full weight on 19s. There's a high 4 in there somewhere with the same tune in a max effort setup/run.

Thank you. We're monitoring it very closely. Next maintenance is in another 1k km and we'll see how things are looking. Mileage adds up very quickly on a daily driven car Torque wise we're in the 650-680awtq range on our Mustang AWD dyno.

I just found these 100-200 km/hr times here on 6speedonline. Goes to show just how incredibly fast this PTF beast is. Very impressive I have to say.

I don't know much about a 3076 car and maybe it's fully capable of those vBox times in general but that graph is suspect. The software calculates g-forces based on changes in velocity from my remedial understanding - and in that regard the g-force spikes seem like an impossibility. Hopefully this car can replicate the times without those spikes.

Thanks guys.

longboarder, as mentioned we found that the acceleration graph was a bit odd as well. You can also see slight wiggle in the speed graph if you look closely. I think this might be traction related but in any case we'll have more runs. This was just what I dug up off our SD card and thought to share. The car did run a 5.1 before but vbox wouldn't save the results.

Keep in mind that this car with our tuning on OEM VTGs ran a 7.1 on pump gas with a slipping OEM clutch. Greyson's OEM VTG 6MT 997.1 car on E85 ran a verified 5.9secs.

Back on OEM VTGs the car was putting down about 530awhp on pump gas running that 7.1. Its now pushing ~240awhp (770awhp) more than that on our Mustang AWD dyno with 3076s and meth (add about 12-15% for Dynojet numbers). We're still on the Sachs 2.5 clutch/OEM dual mass flywheel and the fact its managing to hold is a sign that we're being relatively reasonable with torque.

We're adding an aftermarket exhaust manifold back on the car, hoping to dyno again and see if there are any gains to be had there. Our exhaust is decat but 2.75" piping and maybe there's a bit hiding there if we went to a 3", doubt it, but maybe.

sweeeeeet! I will have to catch a ride in that rocket one day. I'd love to see some pumpgas numbers (without meth) if you get a chance.

Yea for sure any time! As for pump gas as far as I remember it ran somewhere in the low 6 range but I didn't spend much time dialing in pump gas on this setup to be honest.

while i see your point with the G line looking funky. the time is right on with there their car should be based on power it makes on their dyno.

they either got some wheel spin going on or clutch spin. when i did my couple 4.9s i had some clutch slip and my graph looked a bit jumpy too. not as bad as this one but with power this car makes and its mods.... i dont see anything suspect.

Yeah the net slope from seconds 0-4 overall looks reasonable. After 4 seconds this arrhythmia settles and this thing is just flying I'd love to see how this car performs at an airstrip event it would kick ***. Looks like a 180+half mile car.
