Help picking wheel color

Hey Guys,

So I've decided to give my car a more bolder look and change my wheels tires. I currently have 20' HRE's P40sc on my turbo. I'm wanting to go bronze or anodized gold. There's a place in town that will powder coat my wheels but I would need to know paint colors. Check out how my car (the 997 turbo) looks and how I want it to look on the 991.

I would really appreciate your inputs in this. Thanks in advance guys.

Bronze is certainly a great idea in my mind, I love the bronze finish. If you want to make sure the powdercoating is taken care of properly though, I would suggest getting in touch with us so we can provide the stripping and powdercoat service so that you know it's done right, and so you know it doesn't diminish the strength of the wheel. Improper powdercoating (ie baking the wheel for too long), can result in a wheel becoming less strong which would then lead to the wheel being more susceptible to damage.

P40SC in Satin Bronze:

Get in touch with me directly and I'll make sure that your wheels are taken care of

What temps and length are considered safe?

We don't divulge that information. There are some things we keep secret not because we don't want to inform you guys nor is it because we feel that we're entitled, but certain business secrets we like keeping to ourselves, and that would be one of them. We've spent a boat load of resources and cash into perfecting the way we strip and clean wheels all the way down the line to powdercoating; including temperature, length of time and so forth. So what the most important thing to know is that we have perfected the process and spent the money/time in doing it and we don't want to give that information away for free. Hopefully that makes sense, not trying to sound snobby or anything I just wanted to make sure I explained it well enough for you as to the reason why.

I think bronze would look great. I think anthracite would also look great on your car.

Fair enough..understandable. I just didn't know if it was common knowledge among powdercoaters that the community should be aware of.

As for the OP: That bronze looks great on black.

Bronze is a personal favorite. These photos are old, but it'll give you and idea of what yours would look like.
