Hi Guys! Most of you have great experience with standing mile event.
So could you give nice tips for better performance, like tires type and sizes/launch/camber/wheels size and all relevant points!!!
My car is a 997tt awd aprox 600whp 6speed

Get as much weight out of the car as you can.

 

Log B so we can make sure the car is happy. Happy is fast and safe. Good luck bud and I'm here if you need anything.

 

Forget all that stuff. You need at a minimum a full sfi 3/5 fire suit 2010 snell helmet gloves shoes and underwear. All of this gives you 20 seconds of protection if the car is on fire and you are knocked out. 1 mile takes time for the crew to get to you.

If you are running harnesses then a hans is a must. Wrecking at 170+ mph is no joke. Prepare like your life depended on it

 

I would have your tech go through your car, suspension, brakes, tires...helmet, gloves and a race suit are important also.

With cobb 93 map car did 100-200km 6,0 sec and 60-130mph 6,8!! Nice

You should do very well with those mods against that list of cars,don't go ***** out on the 1st run just cruise & let off gas early & get a feel for the runway & the braking zone (hopefully a long one)& then next run launch it & go pedal to the metal .

- Get the car aligned specifically for that kind of run
- Have the brakes checked
- Don't do anything abruptly (e.g., coming off the gas really quickly, steering inputs)
- Build up your speed
- Have fun
