My Cab TTS value?

Hi all.

I've been contemplating selling the ride. I'm not desperate or needing the money, but every so often I think about other cars I've always wanted. I guess if the return is good I'd consider selling.

It's a 2011 Cabriolet TTS, quadruple black, 18,000 miles. Pristine condition. Clear bra on entire front end, Europipe, recently installed Pilot Sport Cup 2's. Never tracked and probably saw rain 5 times.

$90-$110K is what I've seen.

Thanks. I'll be hanging on to the ride for a while.

I don't blame you. I've seen low mileage 2012 TTS for < $110K w/less than 15K miles. There are a handful on Autotrader.
FWIW, I like the looks of the 997.2 TT/TTS better then the 991's

Yeah, that's low considering the $180,000+ initial cost, besides the clear bra and Europe which where $7,000+. I love the car too much to take a big hit like that.

I agree, I like the 997 looks more than the 991. More classic in my opinion. Personally, my favorite of all is the 993.

Take care!

A friend of mine is in the market. He's finding nicely equipped 2011/12 TTS coupes for $92-94K. They don't seem to holding their value and appear to be depreciating quickly. Personally, the 911 line ended for me with the 2013 997.2. It's the same with BMW, the M-line ended for me in 2003. Porsche and BMW have grown increasingly bloated and less driver focused.

I'm now considering an Audi RS7 Pristige Performance with 604 HP; 0-60 in 3.2 seconds will embarrass a lot of current Porsche and BMW owners.

How often are you "racing" people on the streets?

My friend has a 2015 Audi RS7. It's a nice family sedan and a good alternative to the MB and BMW sedans.
It's fast in a straight line but its heavy and looks like the Panamera from the rear.
The thing is nearly 200 inches long and 4,500 lbs!!
That's as long as a Chevy Tahoe. hehe

If you have the stock exhaust, your best bet is to put it back on the car. My experience is that any aftermarket exhaust will cost you money when you sell it. Plus, you will have no trouble finding a buyer for your EP north of $3000.

Thanks. Definitely a good point. Decided I'm keeping the TTS though.
