Can anyone tell what intercooler this is? My car was sent to GMG in 2010 for a bunch of work. They have no records because they went to a new computer system. The Porsche dealer I bought the car from will not give me previous owners number to ask questions.

i cant help w/ identifying the i/c but would suggest ditching the worm clamps for some better t clamps

 

The fact that you know it went to Gmg & that it has Gmg IC hoses i'd say there's a darn good chance it's a Gmg IC

 

Yes but Sam said GMG does not make intercoolers. So just wondering what brand they use.

It also looks like the FVD coolers. Maybe they had a short run or something. I'm just pretty sure they don't and haven't offered them for sometime but maybe once. Whatever they are, you could log and see if they are fitting the bill. I would imagine that if GMG fitted them it was either a short run of something they built or something that they approved of and you should be OK.

 

So turbos and tune.......ready set go????

I would highly doubt GMG would install "ebay specials"

 

I have the receipt from GMG but it does not state what brand. Like most said, I am sure GMG paid someone to fab them just wondering who.

 

Missed the part they installed them. Possibly GMG or SRM?

 

Right, most assume GMG but everyone I have spoken to said GMG never built their own coolers, so wondering who in 2009-2010 may have built them for GMG.
