Fit, form, and function, who makes the best exhaust in regards to PERFORMANCE for these 997.2 TTS's? I currently am running a Europipe with 100 Cel cats... I'm told it's great exhaust, but heavy and restrictive. I'm looking for opinions on a performance based setup, that's of good construction, good flow, and light in weight. Thanks for any and all opinions.

I would say Kline Inconel. I had Europipe and replaced it with Kline and love it!

Did you notice a difference in performance? Still stock manifolds or did you switch to headers too? Thanks for your reply.

Just exhaust changed, stock manifolds and headers. It seems to be happier to boost?

Very nice, I hope to get a nice tone with no drone. That's good news!

Putting cats right next to the turbos doesn't sound like the "best" regarding performance. Move the cats away from the turbos (i.e. move them to where the muffler would normally go) to reduce EGTs. As far as I know, only BBI does this. And yeah, fit form function all top notch with this bespoke exhaust.

Otherwise if you go catless there are a couple other high quality options.

Good luck.

Always good info from you, thank you Adam. Any recommendations for catless?

I'm convinced that Speedtech makes the best sounding exhaust for 997.2

And John is an awesome guy to deal with.

I'm super happy with my catless and mufflerless 3 inch race xpipe.

We offer a great solution to consider. Our 3" X-Pipe can be used with the OEM cats and OEM tips. It ships with an adapter to taper down to the OEM cat diameter.

Or it can be purchased as a full 3" system with either our HJS Hi-Flow cats w/3" outlets or 3" cat bypass pipes, as 3llooi above is running.

An advantage of our unique design is that should you purchase the basic "muffler delete" for OEM cats/OEM tips and change your goals in the future, you can add our Hi-Flow cats (or bypass pipes) with 3" outlets or dual 3" tips or both (which would yield a full 3" system as pictured below). That option is on the table with SpeedTech plug and play parts by simply upgrading your existing system for less than the cost of an entire new system. In other words, it can grow with you.

Here are a few pictures to give you an idea. Our web site has several 997.2TT testimonials and we get nothing but positive comments from customers that purchase this system. We offer 6speed Member discounts, as well.

3" X-Pipe only w/ OEM cats and OEM tip outlets

Same X-Pipe configured as a full 3" system w/ dual tips installed

I went with the Sharkwerks exhaust and it sounds great and has an even better price.
