No Fly Zone 4/1
Adam,
I hate it when you do this, as it leaves us in huge suspense!!

Any "trailer like" details on the runs until your compilation makes it out?
kenromero, how did your beast do?

I think it will be the best vid I've ever made. 997 forum will be proud
It was nice hanging out and thanks for the vbox lesson Adam. I was over thinking it lol. You were moving out as usual. Sucks we couldn't keep running Mark's car. The data shows a worse leak every time and on the 4th run where I was excited to run you it was the last straw and we lost all pressure. Got lots of data and tested all the new goodies though.
Pros and Cons!!!
It was a great day, cool in the mid 70s and it wasn't a crowded event. Only 84 cars registered for Saturday and the time between runs is shorter than ShiftSector!!
I was hoping to experience a similar amount of fun as Adam but I first felt a definite drop in throttle response when I exited the freeway. Adam and I ran against each other first and I did not not intend to try a launch and only ran a 161 with very little time in the 20psi range. My 2nd run was against a McLaren and I ran a 154 (still beat him!!) and didn't hit 20psi. 3rd run was 124 with maybe 6psi!!!!
Drove it home and jumped on it once on a quiet industrial street and it immediately jumped to 30psi.
Can anyone give me an idea of why no consistency in boost???? It's back at the shop.

That sounds frustrating my friend! I hate boost related issues as it quite often is from boost leaks and I HATE doing witch hunt boost leaks!!
Can't wait to see what your car runs when running properly!
Thanks for the encouragement!!
As it turned out, it was a boost leak. A clip on the Champion carbonfibre inlet pipe broke off. Difficult to access and may require another engine removal. Apparently the inlet tubes are a bit fragile. I've seen the silicon tubes, they do not appear as fragile.
