Gmg insane street cup car

Saw this car for sale on ebay and I thought to share it with you guys : http://m.ebay.com/itm/2007-Porsche-911-GMG-997TT-WC-GT2-GT2-Cup-Car-/302325863301?hash=item4664069385%3Ag%3AuFQAAOSw5cN YP8dE&_trkparms=pageci%253Ad538f159-4c9b-11e7-b935-74dbd180f35e%257Cparentrq%253A89e0183a15c0ab66b122 59e7ffff3dc4%257Ciid%253A24

I have to say this is one bad a** build with best parts I have seen.

Wow what a weapon that thing is. I'd highly recommend copy and pasting the link. Its worth the time. It really is perfection. But what would you expect from GMG.

The lack of an OBD prevents it from being smogged and registered for use on the street in most places. It's basically a trailer to the track toy.

If you can afford the car, you probably know how to make it pass emissions even with out standard OBD.

Love the car but as mentioned you can't street it and for track only hard to beat a factory parts cup car

No idea who Chad Viso is. Bottom line is, it's a very cool track toy but clearly a tough sell as they've been trying to get rid of it for about a year now with no takers at what is 991Cup Cup money. Would be fun to see it in person.

Or live in one of the 19 states that doesn't have emissions.

Michigan
Florida
Montana
Nebraska

Speaking of Nebraska,.. a huge percentage of supercars are registered there. Most of the countries Bugattis for instance. Many of the McLarens local to me.

So just register it to a trust there,.. save a ton of money,. and no smog check.

If that car has a title, it would not be hard to get it registered. That is a LOT of car for the money. I bet it is a handsful. My car is AWD close to that power in their claimed "low" setting...I can't imagine how it would feel on RWD.

I would trade in my F430 towards that...I shot them an email and see what they say.

Here in KS, I could register it as an ASVE...and if it has a legal title, you can simply register it as a normal car since there is no smog tests. If it has wheels, turn signlas and headlamps, you are good to go.

It's going away in Washington State as well, I wonder if it is due to similar legislation?
