Hi all,

I am having an issue with my 2011 Cayenne Turbo.

Every time I lock the car, within a minute or so the alarm will go off. Siren works.

I tried disabling the interior motion sensor with the button and double pressing lock..... it didnt help.

I have now removed the motion sensor from the ceiling in front of the sunroof and the issue stopped, but now the rest of the buttons in the ceiling dont work (sunroof, homelink etc.)

Any insight into this?

I had a same issue after installing Towing Computer (OEM: Westfalia) on my 2011CTT.
But no such issue had happened when I used to drive 955 model year 2005 with towing computer (Westfalia).
Then I read the owner's manual and found a sentence that it may sound the alarm if someone intent to remove the trailer from the Cayenne, then the alarm will sound.
So, I have decided to remove the computer (located Rear Right Side inner panel) when I don't tow the trailer. Then the problem solved.
If you have the same equipment (the Trailer Computer installed), I suggest doing so.
