Alarm keeps going off! :-(

I need to finution to my problem before my neighbours killme!

In the morning, pretty much every morning between 5am - 9am my alarm goes off!
I am thinking it might be a problem with the temp sensors......it gets cold at night....then it starts to warm up as the sun comes up in the morning and this is setting off my alarm?

Anyone else had this problem.....and does anyone know how i can fix this problem?

thanks all in advance.

I don't know why a temp sensor would set off the alarm.I'm guessing the alarm is activated by the door opening and by movement inside the car.I would suspect a door latch or movement sensor.I think you can disable the movement sensor by pushing the lock button on the key twice. But check your manual.

Did you change your radio to an aftermarket one?

Yes now you mention it I did have the stereo changed and ever since they changed the stereo......now when i press the button on the remote to lock the car and activate the alarm.......the doors lock and then the car gives a small bib from the horn which never happened before???

I don't think it can be anything to do with movement as the alarm only goes off in the morning and the only variable i can think of is a change in temperature........however i could be wrong as is often the case!

does anyone have any ideas how i might fix this outside of having a new alarm installed?

If your alarm is now beeping after the radio install then they did not ground ( I believe) the radio alarm wire. That could be the issue.

this is an indication that an alarm sensor is not set (...like an open door or compartment). This if you RTFM.

There have been instances when a new stereo is added that it has not ben wired correctly (as suggested with the ground wire)

Remove your stereo, there is a single wire connected to the inside of stereo frame, on the left. Just unplug it and put some tape on it, make sure it doesn't touch anything.
take 5min.

I removed the ground wire from the stereo frame but still the problem remains.
I have looked at the wiring and it all looks spot on.....other than taking a new ground direct from the chassis which i will try.....and other ideas guys?
