New to me 2010 DB9- front parking sensor and fog light buttons not workinging

Hey all, I just got a 2010 DB9-, enjoying the car but have one question, near the arm rest there are 2 buttons, the front parking sensor button activation and the fog light button. Both of these buttons are non functional as nothing happens and the button doesn't light up when I press it. I shall note that the front and rear parking sensors work (they both automatically come on when I engage in reverse) but since the button doesn't work, I can't turn on the front parking sensors manually. Any assistance is appreciated thanks!

Have you tried pressing the button when the parking sensors are actually sensing something? This might be a "deactivation" button instead of an "activation" button?

Check out Aston 1931. He seems to be the king of the DB9. His site has a ton of how to do videos. Also congratulations on your new DB9. Drive the car everyday and everywhere you can.

Hi thanks for replies. I did check that Aston site it has great info but unfortunately nothing on the parking sensor and fog light button not working.

It's weird on my car the parking sensor button and fog light button is right near the armrest but in manual it shows park sensor button near the radio buttons. Maybe because it's Canadian vehicle?

I checked it's not deactivation only button it's suppose to turn on and off the front parking sensor but unfortunately it doesn't work and the button doesn't light up when I press it so I can't activate the front parking sensor manually.

My 2 guesses are, drink has been spilled into the 2 switches directly in front of the cup holder. Or someone has had that panel out for repairs and never plugged them in.
Does the 12v port work?

Mechanic also guessed something spilled, I didn't check the 12 volt but the USB and aux ports inside the armrest does actually work as I have a Bluetooth streaming device working...

If something spilled or was unplugged, how would I go about fixing it? The front parking sensor and fog lights aren't on the same fuse so it wouldn't be a blown fuse right?

Thanks again

I guess next step is try to remove the center console to see if those buttons near cup holders are plugged in properly? The buttons don't stick at all when I press them so I'm hoping it simply wasn't plugged in properly? When I open center console what else should I check to try to get the buttons to work? Might it a very conplex issue or are they typically easy fixes for non functioning buttons? The button doesn't light up either but I shall confirm the actual sensors themselves work (front sensors come on automatically when reversing)
