electrical troubleshooting advice

Hello all - newer owner of an 07 V8 Vantage looking for some help troubleshooting an electrical problem. Initially I thought my car had an issue with seat memory module calibration, but after disconnecting the battery and running through the calibration procedure, the directional controls did not function. I checked fuses 60, 61 and 84,85 and all are good. I then found the seats did move using the memory buttons. Digging further I found this thread indicates fuze 47 includes the seat switchpacks. Sure enough, this fuse was blown and breaks immediately on contact when replacing with a new fuse. What I find odd is that some items on the circuit (glovebox and fuel flap switches) seem to work fins, but no interior or trunk lights.

Does anyone here have some good tips on where to start troubleshooting this circuit? Are there specific items that commonly fail or specific places to start looking for a short? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know about this particular issue, but unplug things on this circuit one at a time and see what blows the fuse. Service manual should help trace wires and confirm what works off that fuse.
