Good find, wonder if it will make it's way to the US. The 996GT2 was such a sales disaster for PAG I kind of doubt it.

 

I was shocked when I saw the highlight "997 GT2" had to rub my eyes as it was early and I thought I was dreaming .
I seriously doubt that there will be a USA 997 GT2 due to the 996 GT2 sales being miniscule, BUT you never know. Actually I for one wouldnt mind as it only means our GT2's will be unique at least for these shores.

there was an interesting article in autocar a few weeks back,with one of the senior guys at porsche who admitted the gt2 was coming.
He also said that the times at the ring for the 997s and 997 were best using the normal setting on psm and not the sport setting,which he said was actuallyonly any use if you take the car on the track.However the 997 turbo with the chrono pack will be much quicker due to the overboost facility.If I have not thrown it away I will scan the article up.

 

Wow. A 997 GT2 in the states would change everything for me. Then again, deciding between the GT3 RS and the GT2 would be very tough.

I aint never ever ever getting rid of my baby. Maybe adding the 997 GT2 would be nice but I still havent fallen in love completely with the design, not yet anyway.
