997 TT Opinion Please

I am planning to ordering a new Turbo and need advice on the interior option. The dealer does not have any in stock to look at and compare so I can't decide... Two tone terracotta or black interior looks better? Feedback would be much appreciated!!

Two tone terracotta looks great but I would bet black will be better for resale if you think you will ever sell it.

There will be much controversy over the Terracotta, you either love it or hate it.

I hate it, but have tremendous respect for those that love it. I think it looks like Halloween inside the car - to orange and bright for me.

Get the black interior, you'll never go wrong with black.

Here is a very toned down photo of a 997TT with Terracotta:

Personally I love two tone Terracotta. But need to know what exterior you choose. If you want black int. add some stitching, color seat belt, CF.... Plain black int. is kind of boning.

Every Porsche I have owned has had a black interior, with one exception. A lot depends on your exterior color. WIth Carrera white, black or basalt the terracota would look great. If you went with Cobalt I believe black would be better.
Enjoy the new car!!

I'd prefer black interior for sure...but add CF kit to keep it better looking.
Black alone would look a bit " simple "...you know
That's my suggestion

I think if I was considering terra, I'd go for the two-tone interior to break it up a bit.

I'm also currently in love with cocoa and think it would look awesome with a bunch of carbon or aluminum.

Go for the Natural Grey leather. Saw a black TT with it installed, stunning. Almost black but with the feel of luxury handbag leather. Definitely try to get a look at it before you decide. With Terracotta, you'll only be able to re-sell it to a small select group of buyers (all of which I believe are on these boards!)

Screw Grey or Black, that's just too boring. The 997TT is a exotic car that deserve an exotic interior. Go with Terracotta and I garantee you that people will drool about the interior every time they see it.

who cares if other people are drooling over your interior? you're the one that has to drive it everyday so you'd better be the one drooling, and long term at that.

get the car for you, not the car you think everyone else will think you're cool in.

Sage advice from a person who more than likely knows who they are and are very comfortable with who they are. Thank you!

Get the color you want but only if you don't care about resale.
