Is there A body change for the 997TT soon??

Wondering as im gonna order A 997 TT next week... I would hate to have a new body come out shortly after!!

the 997 is supposed to be a short model run but what defines short 5 years? vs 7?

LED taillamps will probably be standard for 2008 production, or late introduction anyways. Doubt much else will happen unlike the non turbo which is getting a front clip and rear clip change along with the LED rears.

Keep in mind that Turbo/GT3 production continued in 996 form even while the 997 was being produced. I can't see why Porsche would change that. Assuming the 998 comes out in 2009, the new Turbo probably won't debut until 2010.

There will changes in less than 3 years because car manufacturers need to keep creating hype. Whether they are subtle or not it will happen just order the car and enjoy.

I would hope not! Although a new 998 would help depreciate the 997 just enough so I can step into one too!

I think you need to take some time and learn more about the car before plunking down the green to buy one.

I actually Have had quite a few Porsche's !!
One being a 996TT.......
I was just curios as there's been talk of the 998.
