997 Turbo Avalible - Pre Owned

Hey guys,
Just thought I would give the opportunity to a member rather than seeing them wholesale it out... Black on Black Full Leather car, has just over 1K miles, nice options and already has clear bra installed. local owner car, also has a new chin spoiler, car is perfect. here is the list of options:

Sport Chrono Pkg - Turbo
Sport Shifter
Ext. Nav Module
Remote CD Changer
Carbon Pkg - Switch Panel
Rear Center Console Carbon
Door Finisher in Carbon
Carbon Steering Wheel - Multi fxn
Black Mats
MSRP: 134,915 buy it for 132K
PM or call me if interested, it will be avalible for a few days or so and then they'll let the wholesaler come and get it.
I also have 1 2006 new C2S Cab 1 new 06' Cayman S and 1 new 06' Boxster S that would be a great deal for someone, we need to sell em' lets make a deal!

Come on, there are already new turbo's that have a few K marked off. 1000 miles is a USED car, 3K off doesn't seem like much of a special for us 6 speeders.

just my opinion.

Why wholesale a car like that, seems to me it would be a great car to have in your inventory...

Pics are going up today. I don't want to wholesale it, hence the offer here. I would rather sell the car to a 6speeder for a small profit than see it wholesaled out to someone. I will post some for you guys shortly.

Exactly, over the years I've always been puzzled by the dealer line," I'll sell you this car for X Plus today, if I still have in two weeks it goes to the auction (for X)." Why not sell it to the customer in the showroom for X and have the opportunity of selling an extended warranty, accessories, etc rather than send it to the auction and pay those fees in addition to losing the end sale customer contact?

Here you go guys, I couldn't get the pics to upload directly, but they're on our site, DJ I can email you higher res copy's if you want to put them up. oh and as far as wholesaling directly to a 6speeder, the figure I listed is very close to what was bid on the car. I'm not trying to pay my mortgage with this one, just trying to find it a home that will truly appreciate the car.

I think 132k for a used car that listed at 134k is wishfull thinking, esp when guys are getting 2-5k off brand new, but gl with the sale.

Although I did not buy my car from Gosset, I have had nothing but bad experiences getting my Porsche serviced there. This "deal" also seems like a fairly poor joke. However, if Gosset is trying to move upmarket and cater to the dedicated Porsche enthusiast base, I feel that would be a great thing. Good luck.

I'm sorry but the price being asked for a used 997 Turbo is ridiculous! It's not the price even...it's the way it's being presented to this community...I think 6speeders on this forum will know the value of these cars better than some of dealers trying to sell them.

Not a "great" deal by any means. being that most of us are enthusiasts, you may have a better chance of selling that car to the general public than one of the board members. Just my opinion.....
