I Raced her 'illegally' today
I was in eleanor at about 1:30 pm,
i got off the 101 University Ave in East Palo Alto...
a kid in a backwards baseball cap pulled up next to me at a stop sign in his 80's 5.0. It was suuup'd beyond all hell he rev'd his engine.. it was as LOOOOUUUUD as Eleanor if not more!!!!
There was a mutual nod.
THEN...
...we both floored it ! we raced a whole 2 blocks. The adrenaline consumed me. Both cars ROARED just like they were built to! and almost as quick as it started
the noise all settled. He pulled up next to me again and said "That Car is f'kn faaast, I ain't never been beat until today, I've raced Ferrari's and all kinds of Porsches," he exclaimed...
He repeatedly shook his head and said "Gawd damn that **** is fast !!!!"
so with that said, today was a good day.
