I sold my turbo

After my problems with the car and the poor treatment I received from Porsche (see a previous post detailing the issues) I decided I had enough.I made Porsche take the car back and vowed never to buy another Porsche.Great cars..but when things go wrong Porsche are total ****** of the highest order...I cannot believe how they treated a genuine Porsche enthusiast.

I went out and bought this, not as fast in a straight line, but oh so quick round the bends...and what a great noise from that engine.I have to say I never thought I would be driving something other than a Porsche nor that there would be a car that is as exciting and useable...but Audi have re-written the book with this ..it is a very special bit of kit.

Beautiful. Better looking than the 911 IMO. Indeed, I tried to buy an R8 and TT was second choice. High class problem I know...

Sorry you had issues, I've had nothing but first class treatment from porsche, pcna, and even my dealer. The r8 is a great car, a guy had one at the track last week, but was having some brake issue and never ran.

Congradulations on the R8, How come it doesnt come with the Carbon sideblade as I have recently noticed most of the R8's I see come with the Silver/allum look rather than carbon fiber.

the carbon fibre sideblades are options...I don't really see the point of them myself..I had to pay slightly over list for this..there is a 2 year wait in the UK for one..and very limited production..but I found a car with my ideal spec so went for it as I have not had a car for 3 months (the 997tt was in Porsche garage..still is )

Frankie, that is one beautiful car. I love the sideblades without too much of a contrast. Good choice.
