Can you post a picture of your car? Olso blue sounds interesting.

As for the brakes, what happened? Did they overheat? They're pretty good for what they do so what you did on the track must've been something else. If you really wanted to upgrade your brakes then I'd recommend going with Brembos as opposed to the ceramics. MUCH cheaper!

For the next time change to real racing pads and fluid. The brakes will be so much better.

What do you mean by "sucks"? Need a lot more info. TT surgeon just did Watkins Glen w/ the same brakes and pretty sure he had no issues. Not his 1st track day with this car either.

This doesn't sound like something that would happen on a track...can you elaborate?

As far as the brakes themselves, the stock braking system is more than capable of handling just about anything you can throw at it. Flush the fluid and replace it with a high-temp such as Castrol SRF, Motul RBF600, or ATE Superblue. For the track, the stock pads are more than enough if you are a beginner. If you have a fair amount of experience, a dedicated track pad is a good idea. I have used Pagid RS29 (Yellow), RS4-4 (Orange), and Performance Friction 01. For r-compound tires I like the 01s the best. On street tires both of the Pagid pads are great, can't go wrong with either really.

So have you had a mystical brake lock-up problem with the 997 Turbo brakes?

Any same like the one I've experienced with the older 996 model:

ps. Just like BoostJunkie said, for the pads go with Pagid Yellows or Performance Friction 01.

Was it actually complete lockup? Tire smoke, skidding, the whole bit? If so it could be a faulty ABS sensor or fuse. If anything, you should be able to feel the ABS kick in before the brakes are allowed to lock up. Try plugging a diagnostic tool into the OBD port and checking for fault codes. If it's not something with the ABS I'm not sure what else it could be.
