DB9 Questions
Considering buying an 05 DB9, prices around 110 + or - a few k. They seem to have taken a big price hit, why is that? Is there a lot of issues with this year?
My most important questions is about maintenance. If driven a lot are they pricey to maintain? I've only started considering one a few days ago so my knowledge on Astons is quite low...
To give a little background, my other choices at the moment are the BMW M6 and MB SL65.
Any input is appreciated, thanks

Don't know too much about the year...2005 models. I will say that if you are considering the other 2 with the DB9, go with the DB9. Mush more classy.
Some other things to maybe consider:
location of dealership or certified mechanic to work on AM.
Cost of maintenance
New M6 or SL versus a used AM.
If it was me, I would get the Aston, no question! Good luck!

The DB9 is the most classy, but slower than the others. M6 will be the most reliable and stock for stock, run a little slower than the SL65. The SL65 depreciates like a rock, but if you can find one for $100-120k they wont drop much more than that. They arent bad for reliability, and they are insane fast if you modify the ECU tuning.

Yep, reliability and cost of maintenance are big concerns of mine. Will the DB9's operating cost be a lot more then the SL or M6? Knowing that is key for me to make a decision
That said, I really want the DB9

Your Annual costs will be 1500 per year the services alternate from 1200 to 1700 every year or 10k miles other than at 30k we change spark plugs. Of course this at our Tampa location other dealers might have a higher labor rate. I would happy to answer any questions that you need

The DB9 is slower but it has so much more "soul" than the other two cars. I just can't get over how homely the 6 is and the SL is just too heavy to be a fun car. Check out my titanium/artic blue at Scottsdale Ferrari. I traded it in and it has only 2300 on it. I bet you could get for 110 or close.
