I saw a Vantage today at night and I must say, the LED lights are not too bright. Earlier, I saw the Audi R8 in the day time and the LED were WAY BRIGHTER. Is it just because of the way AM made their LEDs compared to Audi?

Also, I noticed that the rear tailights don't illuminate the whole light, but just the top part. Why is that?

 

1. It is the colour. The vantage LEDS are yelloish, while the R8's are white, so the latters' are much more obvious.

2. the bottom part of the tail light is the turn signal. so it does not illuminate under normal driving circumstances.

 

oh ok, I did not know they Vantage had yellowish LED. Do you know if it is possible to switch them to a more white LED color?

 

the Vantage has LED headlights? I thought it was just a few and it also had regular headlights? The R8 was the first car to have LED headlights no?

 

The headlights themselves are not LED, they are plain xenons (opt)/halogen.
The LEDs are arranged in a strip (see above picture in forum header).

 

you can't change the led lights to a whiter and brighter color?

Fifth Gear's testdrive of the Vantage shows very bright LEDs. That was the first time I saw those LEDs on the Vantage.
