2007 Vantage for $82,000

Was lurking around dealers today in Minneapolis and stopped by the local Jaguar/Rover dealer, they had a 2007 Vantage for $82,000. I couldn't believe my eyes. The car looks stunning and is very comfortable. Is this a good price?

Prices on high end cars are falling quicker than the stock market... Just look at the recent Manheim auctions, 2007 997 TTs are in the $70Ks...

Depends on your location. They are probably cheaper up north than in the south, especially SoCal and S. FL. When I bought mine about 2 months ago, average price for an '07 was in the mid to high 90s. For a car in South Florida with 900 miles on it, I think I got a good deal at the time. It seems like prices are dropping though, and if you have cash and a distressed dealer you can likely get one for less. I've heard people say $70s for some cars but I'd look it over pretty closely before getting one at that price unless it was a private sale from someone who needs $$.

That seems like a really good price if the car is well optioned. I'm jelous as I paid much more last August. However, I love the car so much I really don't care that much. I plan to keep the car for a long time.

But those are wholesale prices, no?

As for the ebay auction, that price is low, but it is an '06 with a whopping 25K miles...very high for this car.

Do these cars not hold up well for 12-15k miles a year? I had always heard they were good for daily driving.

As far as I know, yes they do. I could use mine as a daily driver, but I choose not to. Mine is an '07 and it only has 2000 miles on it. The '06 with 25,000 miles is one of the highest I've seen...simply because of the nature of the car they usually don't end up with that many miles in such a short time. I would bet that most of the '06s and '07s out there still have under 10,000 miles.

2007 V8V price at cole european

2007 V8V with 4800 miles, fully optioned, sport shift at Cole European Aston $97,800. The one in the post for $82k is a steal, even though it's not an Aston dealership... I bought mine from River and I thought I had a great deal

To the guy writing about 2007 997 TT prices: I looked at 997 TTs for 2 months and a certified one goes for minimum $100k. Not sure where you get your prices from... but deff not a legit Porsche dealership.
