Supercharger going on...car back next week

I should have my car back this time next week if things go as planned. The supercharger is going on now, should be almost done. I'm also getting the upgraded clutch, HRE M40s, and H&R springs. I also ended up getting the RSC software because I expect it to improve throttle response, low-end power, and increase redline to 7500. Baseline HP was 307rwhp...I am hoping for 520rwhp after the kit is on. It should be quite a different car when it returns. Expect lots of pics and videos!

Sounds awesome Tahoe. Your car is becoming a monster. I can't wait to see pics and reports of performance. Congrats. By the way, what size are the wheels and tires?

The wheels are HRE M40s with charcoal/satin finish in 19x9 front and 19x11 rears with 255/35/19 front and 305/30/19 rear tires. Overall weight savings over the stock 19s for the wheel/tire package is about 43 lbs of rotating mass if the numbers they provided me with are accurate. I'll have weights done to compare before the wheels go on.

Those wheels are a great choice. They seem really wide, I would assume you've researched the possibility of contact in the wheel well after it's lowered. I have the H&R springs but I haven't put them on. I built a new garage and recontoured my driveway this fall to prevent any issues. As soon as I'm done the surfacing I'm having them installed. Do you have any other exterior plans; front or rear?

Yeah I talked to HRE to make sure they would fit. The V12 Vantage uses those same wheel sizes without any modifications to the wheelwell and with a similarly lowered suspension. There's a lot of room under there. HRE had pre-tested the fit on a Vantage and I believe they said up to 12 or 12.5 would fit with the right offset, but there's really no reason to go that wide. Even with 625 crank hp, the 305s are about as wide as I'd think anybody needs. I wanted to find a good balance between traction and weight.

I might do a carbon rear diffusor at some point. It would make sense to match it with a front splitter, but I imagine that will be a real PITA on the street.

I began my conversation for some HRE's I was going to buy them next year but I understand there is probably going to be price increase. Who did you get yours from and if you don't mind what was the price for the package. I have the RSC front splitter and haven't dad any problems. I am very careful in driveways but haven't scraped yet. I think premier has a conservative front that replaces the bottom and includes some carbon. I may have chosen that if it was available when I got mine in '08. Anyway, l'm looking forward to hearing about your performance. Keep us posted.

Why don't you think about buying these? Seems like a real good deal to me.

Like them in pictures, hate them in person. A little too puffy from the profile.

Hi Guys,

Little bit of talk about wheels - thought I'd drop these pics in of our new RSC signature wheel, the 'Taglio'. We developed this wheel in 20" for the Gallardo but can do it in any bolt pattern and I think it would look particularly good on the Vantage. 23lbs and available in whatever color combinations/finishes you want.

The wheels are $5500.00 per set ($5225 to 6speeders). As far as finishes go you really can have pretty much whatever you want. Certain custom finishes and paints can be up to $100 per wheel but most basic combos there's no additional cost.

Okay I got Ben to do this with me and let's face it, neither of us are photoshop wizards so this is perhaps a laughable attempt but this might give you some idea.
