09 Vantage Price Data Point

Thought I'd share that I just picked up a well optioned '09 V8V for $31k off MSRP! The car only had 100 miles on it and is still under full warranty.

I paid a lot less for the '09 than I did for my '06 V8V, six speed demo with 5k miles on it.

For the Porsche v. Aston questions on some other posts - In the last six years we've had a 997 Cab, GT3, GT3RS and a Cayman S. All nice cars but they left me wanting something nicer, a better blend of sport and luxury and something more unique. After a big search including used Ferrari's and Lamborghini's, I came back to the Vantage and love it!

There are a lot of '09's still out there, get the deals before they're gone!

sounds pretty good, how much did you pay though (if you dont mind me asking and feel free to pm also if you wish). It sounds pretty good, I might have to pick one up if the deals are too good to pass up!

MSRP was $138k, I paid $107k.

KSCARGUY, Depending on your location, I would just start looking on the AM dealer websites. I found quite a few available at dealers in California and the greater western US. Of course they don't advertise the low prices, but I think most are pretty motivated to clear the '09 inventory.

I made a low ball offer I never thought would be expected. Their counter offer was only slightly above my offer and I took it.

I know a few months ago, you could find a great deal on a convertible. Aston Martin of Scottsdale had a fully loaded coupe 09 for $106K. I was out of the country when they posted the car. Called the day I got back and they had just sold it. I would check out the dealers in Florida as well. If they have 2010 models on the lot, they may be more willing to work with you.

Yeah, I got mines in Nov 2009 for 31k off as well. The car was fully loaded, except for the smoker's package and volumetric alarm. Funny thing is, there are 2008's still available for a very steep discount, especially convertibles. I did alot of research and found out that many 2009's in the East coast are not loaded and the West coast ones are. Many of the East coast cars lack the sports package.

wow, what do you think 08 convertibles would go for now? I don't even know if they could discount it enough to account for the depreciation of a 2 year old car!

I was told that AM values warranties at $10k per year. Some times they put cars "in service" even though they are new on the dealer lot. As the car ages they can discount it more because it will have fewer months of warranty remaining.
