I'm very interested in a AM Vantage at European Automobile Company in Plainview, New York. Since I live on the West Coast of Canada that makes it hard for me to view the car or test drive it. Is there anybody in the area that could check out this car for me??

Hmm...I could probably do it. Have you spoken to the dealer yet? If so, give them a call back and ask them if it'd be alright for someone to come down and drive/inspect the car.

Absolutely. I'm looking to get an AM V8V myself so this is perfect, I've been meaning to test drive the car. I'll inspect the car for any body work, abuse, etc. I'll drive down there on Saturday afternoon - the place is relatively easy to get to from my house, literally right off the highway.

I'm very serious about this car and a test drive would put my mind at easy about buying it. That Aston is still under warranty. So no problem about buying it even if you can't test drive. Since a few guys here are checking it out for you, it should be fine. Also check the car fax to make sure it's never been in wreck. The car looks good.

 

Warranty is one thing...but the past owner is another.

I'll be looking for any signs of past damage and abuse.

 

I got the Carfax and everything checks out good on this Vantage. I'm really interested to know how the transmission and clutch feel.

I drove a 2010 sportshift a few weeks ago and thought it was awesome! SS is the way to go!!!
