Need some input on a 2009 AMV v8

I'm in the market to purchase a 09 V8V and want to make sure I know what I'm buying before I take the plunge. I've read some of the threads, which have a wealth of information! I'm opting for the 09 for the additional power and other improvements from the 08 model.

I have a few questions:
  1. Does the factory warranty exclude anything noteworthy? i.e. will not cover a faulty clutch
  2. I live in the Bay Area. Any recommendations on a reputable shop?
  3. I read that services at AM can cost $1500-2000/service and $500-1000 at an indy shop. Is that accurate? Do they offer pre-paid services? I'm also looking at an Audi R8 and they sell pre-paid services until 50k for $790.
  4. For things like replacing brake pads, replacing belts, rotating tires, etc. how often are they required and how much are they? I read that a brake job can be $700-900/axle at AM?
  5. On average, how long does the clutch last? How much is it to replace? I read that a new clutch can run $5000 at AM and $3000 at an indy shop.
  6. Is the Extended Warranty worth it? I hear it covers less than the factory one. I own an 06 Range Rover Sport and while I haven't had any issues, I still purchased the Ext Warranty in case something does happen and I'm not stuck with a $5k bill.
  7. Are there any known issues I should be aware of?
Thanks everyone and apologies for the 20 questions! I guess you can say I'm a little OCD when it comes to buying a pre-owned car, especially an exotic.

Look for timing cover seal leaking oil. Sounds like they all do and if it hasn't been done during the warranty then it's about a $2500 dollar job at dealer.
Mine's being fixed as we speak for about $1500 at an independent incl redoing both valve cover seals whilst it's all apart.
Brake job is about $400 per corner. Oil changes require about $200 worth of oil which I buy from my BMW dealer cause it's cheaper. Aston buys through them as well and then marks it up!
Air filters are a biatch to get at because it involves removing both front wheels and inner fender lining to get at them.
Pollen filters for cabin air and wiper blades which I replace after every summer before the rain hits although I don't drive her when it's wet out.
Motor is really bullet proof from my undersatnding. I've heard of no catastrophic failures on any forum.
Most importantly pull the trigger and BUY ONE! and don't worry so much about everything else! They are superbly built machines and are meant to be driven hard. Take care of her and I guarantee she will take care of you 10 fold!

Thanks Smokey! I appreciate all the comments. Now if I can just find an 09 V8V with low miles, in Tungsten/Meteorite/Titanium Silver!

I found one in San Diego!!

What do you guys think? Does $100K sound about right or should I negotiate? I was thinking of asking $95K.

Here's the CARFAX.

Thanks!

I love black, especially after a good bath. But I hate that it gets dirty so quickly. My Range Rover Sport is black and I love it after I've washed it. But a few days later, it looks dusty again.

Quantum Silver is perfect on v8v, it is rich charcoal gray, and I do not need to wash it daily ; }. But I might be bias.
