Does anybody know how I can fix my navigation on my 07 V8, the navi is saying I'm in a different location then I am?

 

I have the same problem. I don't have the manual either so it's even more difficult to try and troubleshoot. One thing I would check to make sure is if the right disc is in. Mine came with 3 discs, each for a different region of the US. I would tell you how, but I don't know how to yet.

 

I went to the dealership today and had one of the service guys look at it. He said that sometimes it can take a while for the satellite to triangulate onto your location and to leave the nav on as much as possible. However, what seemed to fix it was he took the DVD out and popped it back in. After that, it recognized my location. The DVD player is located in the trunk on the top left side near the trunk light. Pull the cover and it will expose the DVD player. Good luck.

My nav often indicates I'm driving off road. In general, the system is one of the worst out there. Nav was really an afterthought for AM.

 

Actually I think it works pretty good its the first time this issue has occured other than that the navi in my V8 works well.... Hey you think AM navi is bad I have a Bentley SS & the navi is horrible doesnt even show you the route list its terrible even the routes the navi uses are terrible!!

 

One time when I was in San Diego driving North the nav was convinced I was in Mexico driving South. It later realised it's mistake and corrected my position to the middle of the Pacific Ocean!

 

Cool, you must have the ultra exclusive James Bond "float on water" option. I heard AM made very few of these!
