So I just had to pull the trigger on a Lagonda...

The Lagonda is still the most outrageous thing ever to come out of Newport Pagnell, and when I found one in Houston, I had to jump on it. It's just too crazy for words....pics don't to it justice.

Look at those lines, that dash, that steering wheel!

Putting gas in it for the first time....had more stares and questions than the FGT and the Lambo combined....

I was sooo tempted by a red one that came up on ebay over here in UK a couple of months ago - that was in red and looked magnificent. They really are dramatic cars, congratulations

I saw one of these in person last summer at a Aston Martin owners club event. It was stunning. Very interesting car. People were drawn to the car and the uniqueness. Enjoy. Very cool find!

You certainly are a man with taste - '87 928S4, Espressobraun/Cork -

This Lagonda is like from a different dimension, not really belonging to any time or this earth. The tires are so large it might float away. Do they even sell these tires? The front reminds me of "Back to the Future" and the rear is cool. Exterior wise, I like it. Interior it just didn't hit the mark for me.

I remember very much reading about this when new and saw 1 in the mid-80's drive down a street in my hometown. It sure stood out.

Have you done cosmetic work on your 928?

Damn

I like how the battery is in the middle of the trunk floating freely by what looks like the fuel tank

Wow, looks like quite a project. Was the car in bad shape when you got it?

It was a driver quality car, but nowhere near what a Lagonda deserves to look like. Now, it will be a showstopper.

The build looks great. First class all the way, as it should be. Congrats, can't wait to see it all done.
