I get the logo too (updated DVDs from Navigation.com). Doesn't always appear, and I haven't figured out the sequence that makes it show up.

 

My car is a 2007 Vantage.

What sequence do you do to get the splash screen? I don't remember ever seeing one.

 

Can someone check the case that the discs came in? By the bar code there is a #. Is the 2014 disc # 31421095 AA ? Also is the Volvo part # 31421095 AA 1420 ?

I found a set and don't want to buy something that is not going to work in my 2009 V8V.

I have decided to update the navigation on my 2007 Vantage.
It appears that I should order the disks for a Volvo 2006 S-60 or XC-90.

Should I not order for a 2007 Volvo S-60 or XC-90?

Or is the navigation identical for the 2006 and 2007?

 

You need the 2006 XC-90 set. That is 3 DVDs. The 2007 XC-90 update is for a hard-drive based system and will be a memory stick, which won't work for you.

 

Would it be possible to upgrade the Nav box itself to the 2007 Volvo hard disk drive?
