I'm hoping for great things. I've been waiting for this for years. No affiliation. I think their software engineers are in ?Romania

Dammit ... well there goes my suprise haha ... Tried to get there first
(I was going to be the guinea pig as well for everyone), what a coincidence lol ... oh well mine should be coming up soon as well, hopefully with even more power ... biggest problem has been developing the remote flasher for OBD2 ...
Soon you will never have to take your ECU out (and passenger wheel off) ever again to get ECU tuned...
more to come,

Also, for the supercharged cars, new tuning can be done at the ECU level that will eliminate the need for a secondary controller.
EDIT:
Had a chance to look at the video more closely and I did notice a few things...
First, found out the dyno is Dynocom brand dyno, which reads VERY high compared to most dynos. Some of their models are loading, some are inertia so its hard to say which one this is exactly. Here is a comparison between mustang, dynocom & dynojet with the exact same car in similar weather conditions. It appears dynocom reads even HIGHER than dyno jet
(dyno dynamics read lower than all of those by comparison) :
http://my350z.com/forum/vq35hr/40554...s-dynojet.html
Dynocom results:
Best run: 340.9whp / 315.0 ft-lbs
Mustang Dyno Results:
Best Run: 306whp / 254ft-lbs
Dynojet Results:
Best Run: 311whp / 260ft-lbs
Second, The RPMs do not match at all (runs end at 6800, stock redline is 7300). By shortening the power band you can over inflate the numbers significantly. 500rpm might not seem like much, but as I was trying to dial in the perfect tach/speedo ratio on my V8V when I originally did my baseline, a 500rpm difference equated to almost 20+ wHP/TQ. Furthermore, since the numbers are inflated, so will be the gains as well, hence making those numbers optimistic under real world conditions.
Its still tough to say exactly what changes they made, but even so those numbers seem conservative given what I found out about the ECU.
Either way, this isn't stopping my own custom tune, I will try to shoot for the 30+ HP/TQ number to see if it is obtainable.... Hopefully I can achieve my goals for your benefit.
In the mean time I will be doing other mods until tune if finished/complete.

Depends upon your definition of soon. I wouldn't expect to see this available before October.

Fascinating subject, but that is probably the dullest video I've ever watched.
Why do people think that its good to listen to rubbish music whilst scrolling very, very slowly over some still photos. And somebody wasted their time trying to waste ours.
For the sake of your sanity, skip the first 2:50, and get to the one line that was interesting: +24.8hp +27.6lbft
Now we just need an independent validation of the numbers, and it becomes an interesting prospect
Unfortunately, it seems to be a UK company based near Birmingham, which is about 100 miles from me. They were formerly known as ChippedUK, which had a pretty bad reputation for exaggerating bhp claims - google "chippeduk" and "rip off" to get a flavour.
Very disappointing

I agree on the terrible music .... independent validation is key of course. Thanks for the info michael, any idea why they changed their name?
Edit: Makes sense why they changed their name ... their reputation went to hell it appears.

I think its generally accepted that the best MPG occurs with Air/Fuel Ratio of ~14.7:1, and Max Power occurs around 12.5:1. Previous discussions have indicated that at Full Throttle, Aston has set their Air/Fuel ratio down into the 9:1 range. This is very strange, and something as simple as bringing the A/F up to 12.5:1 could give an increase in HP.
Ok, thanks for the clarification. Just to get a better understanding ... does this mean the tune can be done remotely via the OBD2 port or not? Does the ECU still have to be taken out and shipped to you, reprogrammed, then shipped back?
Just trying to understand exactly what you mean by full OBD

Also,
Can you please do a new dyno run on the customers car where the redline matches up properly to 7300rpm. The numbers are over inflated by shortening the graph so its not as accurate. Obviously the car does not make 355 @ wheels stock and 377@ rear wheels with chip. In addition, it is showing 355wheel HP stock / 390 engine HP. That means its saying total drivetrain loss is only 9.8% (obviously NOT true). You need to adjust the numbers to more accurately reflect the proper real world results.
Also, most importantly the air/fuel ratios are not provided, can you please provide these as well. If you correct these numbers it will better be able to provide accurate numbers. Not trying to nitpick but I just want to see what the car would actually make under proper accurate conditions. Right now though the numbers essentially don't mean anything because none of the parameters are correct. Who knows I may buy the tune myself if the numbers are good enough
Thanks

Wow, was a very thorough reponse ... very interesting. Congrats on the hard work. Will be interesting to see what the independent dyno results will show ...
Is this already available for sale or is there more time necessary? Also what is price for the tune?
