That's too bad...it was a really good explanation. I guess they aren't a sponsor, but it was good general info.

I only saw the initial response from Viezu, was there something further? If so, can we have your view on their comments

It was a long winded post which did make some good points but a lot of it could have just been marketing fluff. Only the performance polygraph (aka dyno) would be able to tell for sure. Im still skeptic, but they do say they have a 7 day money back guarentee so it would make sense to just put it on the dyno and do an immediate before and after ....

Perhaps I might just might do this tune if the custom route takes too long. Taking the ecu out is a massive pain, so if the if retunes are free, and it truly is tunable from the obd2 port like they say ... then thats a hard deal to pass up if the price is reasonable enough.

According to this blog entry, their tunes are usually around £299. Even with the Aston tax, it might come in under $500. Fingers crossed.

Found out the info ...

$1200 for the tune with the OBD2 programmer included. There is a 30 day money-back guarantee. The programmer has 3 slots for maps, one is stock and the other two can be maps you want. You can switch back and forth between stock tune and modded as many times as you want.

They keep your tunes on file in case you ever lose them, and they said if you are unhappy they can make minor adjustments for free until you are happy. Any major tune changes require a second mal fee they said ...

I am tempted to go this route and do a full writeup in usual fashion ....

is this the same ECU on the V12 Vantage? Will cracking it lead to more tuners offering options for all the Aston models?
