Are any of you fine folks familiar with the clutch re-learn process for our Sport Shift cars?

 

Yes. On my 2007 SS the procedure is as follows;

From cold engine and with the air conditioning turned off, foot on brake and start the car, hold brake for 10 seconds or so until you hear the clutch 'click'. Switch off and then repeat the process 3 or 4 times.

Pretty simple. It helps reduce some of the slow speed juddering.

I'm curious, what does the learning process do?

I've only had my car a week, though haven't noticed any juddering.

 

As the clutch wears it sometimes helps to re-set and/or adjust the catching point. I wouldn't do a thing if there is no juddering.

Stuart, does this still work if you have the RSC TCU upgrade?

 

I have the RSC TCU upgrade and still do the clutch re-learn procedure.
