Shade of gray on V8 Vantage

I wish the Vantage V8 had a a light silver color like this

The only ones I have seen are the Tungsten (too brownish) and the Meteorite Silver (kind of dark purple).

This one is the only other silver I have seen

You can literally get whatever color you want if you order the car. I like the Tungsten myself....don't care for Silverstone...looks too much like metallic baby blue to me. I really like BMW's Space Gray (I have it on the X5) and Porsche's Seal Gray (now Meteor) which I had on the 987s.

My car is meteorite and I can say for sure that it has no purple hues. With that said, if you want a "knock your socks off" bright silver then like Jaymoney said LIGHTNING SILVER is it. It really jumps out at you in a way I've never seen silver before. Also, remember this fact: You have to see color IN PERSON. Computer monitors are NOT an accurate representation of true color.

Silver wasnt my first choice but the titanium silver is gorgeous.

Shades of Silver

I've had a couple of shades of silver with my Aston Martins. However, by far the most beautiful is also the AM historical color of Silver Birch. I have seen the color in person and without a doubt it is the best. No wonder they picked the color for James Bond's DB5 in the movies.

Teflonv8v beautiful vantage. What size wheels are those, they look nice. And, is the center section powder coated the titanium?

These are 20" Dpe r16 version 2. 8.5x10, with a 40/50 offset. 1" lip in the fronts and 2" lip in the rear. 245/35/20 and 305/25/20. Dpe was pretty conservative with the lips. You can probably go as high as 3" on a 10" rim or 4" on a 11" rim. Hope that helps with your wheel shopping.

I would say that Titanium is the nearest to your first colour, although Lightening (powder blue/silver) is the lightest. Have you looked at Grigio Titanio, that is similar to the darker colour you posted, it's a Ferrari colour (special order) that changes from light to mid-dark grey according to the light, but it was a popular choice, in the UK at least.

WG_Moots, thanks for that. The most common silver I see here are tungsten and meteorite. Meteorite is a darker graphite color and tungsten, I can't really describe but is lighter. I saw the Mako Blue in Newport Beach before it was sold and it was a very nice bluish pearl color. Pretty unique color although I'm not a fan of the clear tailights on the 2010+ models.
