No, but having both The powerpack and exhaust or cats is a good combo.

Suggest you might compare the RSC ECU product vs AM Power Pack ...

There is no exhaust change with the AM Power Kit.

You have to select an exhaust with those upgrades. Either way if you do the AM PP you should get a free flow exhaust, or so from what I've read.

Like I said im my previous post, If I had bought my car stock I would take some time to learn and enjoy it as is first then do the upgrades a few months or a year later. But I was lucky enough to find one with the mods I would have done anyway!

A.M. do now offer a sports exhaust system that is compatible with the 4.7 or any 4.3 with the Power Kit. It adds more of a traditional big cube V8 sound, less hard edged than the standard car (sounds fab.), but it doesn't add any extra horses and isn't included in the P.K. pricing I'm afraid. ... so more cost!

I was told that mine came with one but maybe the person added it in additional. is the only way to tell if the exhaust is upgraded is to look underneath?

You can tell by the exhaust tips, the official A.M. sports system has a dark grey smoked finish, called Graphit-IC rather than the standard polished chrome look. The exhaust valves also open earlier than the standard car. Hope this helps.

There are pictures available online of the underside of the car and the standard box. Just have a peek and compare. It's pretty obvious-- the Aston exhaust is shaped differently from any of the after-market pieces. Grant's post has got you covered regarding the official Aston exhausts.
