I'm glad my car went to Patrick as I know he will care for it as I did. No 22 inch chrome wheels and fuzzy dice for him !
Panamera Turbo/ Turbo S is ridiculous and could embarass pretty much anything claiming to be a sports car. Looks-wise it's grown on me some but I'm very superficial in that I need the esthetic of a car to appeal to me first and foremost, before I can see what it does from behind the wheel. I have/will accept compromise depending on events, but between lack-luster looks and a VERY STEEP price of admission, I don't think a Panamera is for me. The Rapide I liked very much during the test-drive and I wouldn'r totally R/O a used one down the line. New Astons just depreciate too much for my liking. Many times, thinking about the possibilities and exploring/test-driving is half the fun. I have not been idle ...

I don't think that choosing a car based in significant part on the way it looks is being "superficial." Looks are important when it comes to cars. I'd venture to say that many of us here chose the Vantage in large part because of the way the car looks, and there's nothing wrong with that.

Now the Panamera . . . I could never buy one because of that butt! I don't care how it fast it is or how nice it drives.

When we went to test drive the Rapide, my accountant & other friend came in his Panamera, and it was parked right next to the Rapide. Beauty & the beast for sure. I think they can find a way to fix the P's rump b/c the rest isn't too bad. It has a nice presence being lower & wider than most sedans. Sadly, Porsche doesn't do anything quickly and certainly only "revisions" in design...

True. If the 911 is an indication of possible design "revisions," the Panamera will look pretty much the same in 50 years or so.

patrickxkim is infamous around these parts
Yes the panamera has grown on me over time similar to how the Mercedes cls has. I still not crazy over the rear but a rear spoiler helps a lot.

As for the DB9 there is nothing I would change. Only thing is a direct wire radar hookup that will be installed this week.
