Just letting you all know that the new iPhone 4s and Siri work just fine on my vantage . You do have to press the button on the phone for Siri since Aston doesn't come with a compatible button on the steering wheel.

I've had the hardest time getting mine to pair. Got my 4S yesterday and everytime I put it in pairing mode, and attempt to connect, the aston tells me pairing failed before I even get a chance to input the passcode.

The wierd part is, as soon as it says failed, then on the iPhone the passcode code screen shows up and by then the system in the aston has already ended the pairing mode.

My iPhone 4 worked just fine. Mine's an 07 vantage, what year is yours?

Had the same thing happening to me. Keep trying. For some reason with my iPhone 4 I had to try the pairing multiple times until it worked.

My phone pairs just fine (not an iPhone), but the contact list doesn't download into the car's memory, so you can't call someone who you haven't called from the car before (which is memorized by the car). Anybody have this problem and know how to fix (buy a different phone, perhaps?)

06 try to have your phone already in the pass code screen then try to pair again in the car. Once it tells you the message of the code press enter in the phone and that should work

My iPhone4S Un-boxing Clip.

Hi folks.
I've been a member here for a while, I'm working (and saving) here in LA to become an Aston V12 Vantage owner some day soon.
But in the mean time I saw this thread on the iPhone4S and thought I'd post a very short clip I made when I got it yesterday.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1cJcO...&feature=feedu

Hope you enjoy.

I shot the clip using my Canon 7D and the Zeiss 50mm, and a device called an intervelometer to take the pics every 10 seconds.

Peace.
Hope you all enjoy the 4S as much as I do.

Siri is my future ex wifey.

So I took Siri out last night, and introduced her to the car, they are STILL not on speaking terms.

I filmed the whole thing too.

Enjoy.

Thanks this worked for me. I did the pairing process, it told me it failed, then it put my phone in the pass code screen. I re-initiated the pair process, then hit "pair" after putting in the code and it worked.

Seems that the Aston bluetooth doesnt wait long enough for the phone to get to the passcode screen before failing.

Is there a way to turn off the bluetooth in the car if you don't use it? mine lights blue whenever i open the door but i don't use it so just wonder if it is something that automatically turns on.
