Vantage 2005 model cosmetic conversion to 2011

I bought this car few months ago and been doing some work to change it from a 2005 model to a 2011 model.

It is actually the 46th Vantage to come off the production line.

Included in the modifications are:

1. Metallic White wrap
2. N400 side sills
3. Clear rear lights
4. OEM look concave mirror finish 20 inch alloys
5. Racing air filters.
6. Splattering of Carbon fiber around the car

I have a custom titanium exhaust going on soon and carbon fiber rear diffuser and maybe wing mirror covers.

Wow, that is stunning. Amazing job! I haven't seen wrap like that, how does it work?

Very cool, excellent work really. But when are you going to have the steering wheel moved to the proper side?

dehnert is infamous around these parts
Speaking of nice transitions, I was wondering if anyone knows if the center stack on the 09+ is interchangeable with the older models? I have an 08' and I really like the looks of the controls on the 09 and newer center stack much better.

You can change the center stacks over from 08 to 09..just it ain't going to be cheap..it will all fit..but the cd player/media player/hvac wiring and getting everything to operate correctly will be your largest issue. Aston uses the same circuits just there not for the same function..example radio station preset #1 on '08 will be something like #7 on '09 ...same goes for the radio volume..options in radio/nav and HVAC..would be a nice convertion. But if cost is no probm, I'm sure Aston could make a Config file for you to purchase providing all the wiring was converted to a '09 system ..Aston is really hands on so on getting stuff like this to adapt, So yes I believe it can be done with the right amount of cash..You would need just a new wood veneer kit for upper stack+cd play+media player for new fm/am recevier in dash with complete face combined withHVAC controls+ECU for key+Keys+Config+Wiring harness's=$$$$ ..etc

BTW..nice job on the convert ...if i didn't know better I would be fooled..only real stand out give aways are the antenna on the roof and front grill(you can get a stick on windscreen antenna on the net to delete your roof mounted one) ..I'd keep the old mirrors though, don't care much for the newer types..just my 2 cents on mirrors

I never realized the mirrors were different. Are they bigger on the newer models?

Newbie wrap questions ... if you get one, how long does it last? Will it eventually bubble (with heat for e.g.) or get water trapped under it? What if you take it off? Does it ruin the clear coat and require a major repaint or work to restore the original paint? I imagine you only want this done by an experienced shop ... how much does it cost? Europe? North America?

Just noticed the rear marker lights. Are they wrapped or painted?
