2009 Vantage's coming off lease?
2009 Vantage's coming off lease?
I've been looking for a manual 2009+ Vantage convertible. Super scarce!
Just wondering if you guys think (or know) if any are coming off lease - not even sure people lease these cars or what - since it's been 3 - 4 years now and warranties are finishing up.
Any thoughts on whether anyone thinks there will be a flood of used inventory coming on the market soon? Flood obviously a subjective term, we are talking Astons here.....just wondering when I need to make the plunge" or give up!!!!
Thanks!

Don't know about any upcoming "floods," but if you want a convertible, you'll get a better deal while it's still winter. Once the spring weather starts, prices tend to go up for drop tops.
Hi Adelaide, I suggest you have your local dealer run a search for you as well as check AutoTrader and the site for the sponsor of this forum: http://www.globalautosports.com/ Regarding the latter, not sure how up to date their inventory is. Just checked them out and found this pretty sweet looking option: http://www.autosportdesigns.com/Sale...s.aspx?ID=2131
I've been looking for a 2010-2011 (may consider a new 2012) 6MT cab as well and I was able to find a few using these three resources. My dealer sent me this one: http://www.astonmartinorlando.com/ne...a59f25d7fe.htm
Pretty spendy since it's new . . . but maybe deals are avail since it is a 2011?

Wow, you're right! I just checked Manheim and there's exactly 2 Vantages listed (crazy! all fall there were about 10-15 pretty much continuously). There is an 08 cab in FLA but it's an auto. I have heard that most of the dealers go hunting in the late fall and winter so they are stocked up for the rush in the spring. You might find availability tight for the next few months.
thanks for the links. I wonder what deals we can be expecting off in-stock 2011's now that the 2012's are in?

I am guessing that t will ship sometime in the next couple of weeks if I do close the sale . . . so you'd better hustle on over there if you want to see it in person.
just out of curiosity, how good of a deal were you able to work out? Im not looking to spend that much so Ill probably get something used. plus I want an auto anyways, but it would be nice to know what they're selling the 11s for
give it another 6-9 months and you will see all of them come onto the market. 09s are starting to drop a bit and they are in the high 80k range retail right now (seen some at 89k 88k etc).
I have been possibly considering getting the 09 4.7L instead of the V12 and keeping the Gallardo. The 4.7Ls with just a few small modifications would be perfect.
