I just bought an 08 v8v roadster that was very much the same 8 weeks ago. I did buy it from a dealer, so I paid a little more, but they did a full inspection, repaired any issues, replaced the tires, etc. I paid quite a bit less than the list on this, of course I have the smaller engine. Two things to consider, first off, get an inspection from the local am dealer, it's 750. They will tell you if there are issues. Second item is the interior color. To each their own for sure, but any interior that is not black, tan or gray has a tendency to be difficult to sell. I know this because I was shopping for a year and several blue, red, merlot, rust, white, etc v8v sat on the online markets for a long time. Good color combos sell faster and for more. Chocolate is unique, that's for sure!

I recently sold my 08 coupe sport shift with 10,000 miles and purchased a 09 manual coupe with 5000 miles. The plus with this car is the convertible is worth more than a coupe and it is under warranty til 3/13. I would have to wonder though like the previous post about re-sale with this color combo. If you look at the CarFax you will see this car was imported 9/08 but didn't sell til 3/10. If you like the color combo I would use this to your advantage and negotiate a good price. During the winter I think you should be able to buy this car in the very low 90"s. I had a Buyers Inspection done at 2 Aston dealers for $495 ea. The 4.7 convertible with a manual trans and sport pack suspension will be a blast to drive!

Beautiful car, I like the brown interior. 09+ with MT seem to be hard to find.

I would offer low 90 and go from there. As stated above use the interior color and the fact that it took a while to sell to your advantage. Good luck!

As I have been watching prices nationally for over a year while looking for my manual trans, I have noticed that this particular dealer seems to price their cars at the top of the range. As a further negotiating point you may have them include an extra year or two of Aston Martin extended warranty if they want to close the deal. Good Luck!

The miles are a little high but, other than that, it is a high spec car with a six speed. If you want a six speed and like the color this would be the car to buy if you can get it for around $90-94. Manual roadsters are very hard to find. Be sure and check for paint chips, the clutch and service records. Leftover 11s can be had for 25-35 off sticker although there are not very many out there especially with manual. One other note, I have an 09 roadster and just bought an 11 coupe. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the 11 has overall better build quality and many subtle improvements. Not knocking the 09 but its nice to see they do improve the cars as they go. Hope this helps. Ken

I agree with viper1 on his many good points and observations. I also saw from the Carfax that the radio has already been relplaced which also failed on both my 08 and 09. I am curious as to viper1's subtle upgrades he sees between the 09 and 11???

I work at Motorcars of Georgia/Aston Martin Atlanta. I primarily do our Lamborghini sales here but I sell quite a few Astons as well. I sold this car new to a member here who traded it in for a Lamborghini. It is absolutely gorgeous. He owned an 07 Vantage prior to purchasing this one. It was actually the first new Aston we sold after getting the franchise.

Correct - manual Vantages are becoming harder to find each day. I love the way that they drive and I think that the slight premium that exists now will become more significant as the cars age and as Aston's paddle shift technology improves.

Hey, we can always try right! I can assure you that we will be very reasonable in negotiating and make sure that the rest of the experience is excellent as well.

Here are a few more pictures of that car. The owner is very involved in our events and activities.

Please feel free to contact me through this site or call me at the store and we can discuss it further. Have a great day and good luck with the search.

Am claims a 6% improvement on NVH and I believe it. The car is quieter and just feels a litte better screwed together. Yes I am taking into account the difference between the roadster and a coupe. The sportshift feels a little better as does the overall response. I still plan on some mods but it responds better than the 09 did when new. Then there are the little things like the powerfold mirrors being standard and adjustible from the car instead of just the dealer. The tire pressure display in the dash instead of those little lights under the glovebox where you can't see them. Improved Bluetooth and Nav. although a Garmin is still superior. Newer options such as the perforated seats and the B&O. Etc. A note on the B&O since it has been discussed before as being overpriced. I agree that I would not want to pay sticker for it as opposed to the premium system but, it does have better clarity in the mids and highs and has a better soundstage. No question. I am quite happy with the premium in my 09 but I am also happy with the B&O in the 11. If you can get it in a leftover car as I did, with the big discount, go for it. You will be glad you did.
Like I said they have improved the cars through the years as they should. Interesting to note as well that my first Vantage was an 07 coupe that I was quite happy with at the time but in comparison to the 11 it cost more and could not compete with the 11 in any way except for looks. Ken

I saw some absolutely terrible choices when I was looking for my car. The worst was a dark blue V8V with an orange interior.
