Roadster Headlining

Does anyone else have an issue with the headlining on the convertible top catching on the mechanism when putting it down? On my V8 roadster it catches just above the seat belt mounts on each side and has pulled out the stitching. The back side of the headlining appears to have a protective strip glued to it in these areas, but it always comes lose and causes it to catch worse. I don't think it's too much to ask that a new car of this caliber is able to put the top down without tearing it's self apart.

That's my thread on PH
I think the OP is referring to a lower section of the roof.
Not noticed anywhere there on either of mine.
But it does brush the fixings on the top of th roll over bars and can wear there as well.
Any pics?

Looking at the thread that doesn't seem to be an issue with my car. The area that is getting caught is the headliner on the bottom frame hinge.
